FOR CLINICAL TEAMS

Built to live inside DBT programmes.

Limina One supports DBT skills delivery for adolescents and young adults, designed for use by treatment teams in clinical settings. This page outlines how it fits, and what we have built around safety, privacy, and clinical workflow.

DBT typically combines individual therapy, skills training, and coaching. Limina One slots into the skills component, not next to it.

DBT skills training is traditionally delivered through worksheets, verbal instruction, and imaginal exercises. The skills component is where engagement most often breaks down, especially in adolescent care, because skill practice asks a great deal of a nervous system that is frequently in active dysregulation.

Limina One offers a supervised VR environment for the skills component specifically. Sessions can run in individual or group format, with the clinician in the room and in lead. The system does not replace any part of the standard DBT protocol. It gives the skills component a delivery channel built for the way adolescent attention and regulation actually work.

01

Built for treatment teams

Limina One is designed for clinician-supervised use, not for patient self-application. The system supports individual and group session formats with role-specific views for clinicians and patients. Treatment teams retain full clinical authority. Session intent, pacing, and de-escalation remain with the human in the room.

02

Privacy by design

Physiological and session data stay within the clinical perimeter. There is no cloud upload of session content beyond what the clinical team explicitly chooses to retain. Data flows are documented and auditable. The architecture is built to align with Swiss data protection law (FADP) and EU GDPR.

03

Session protocols and safety rules

Sessions follow standardised, auditable protocols designed for adolescent care. Safety stops, escalation handling, and post-session debrief flows are built in. Protocols are configurable by the clinical team to match programme structure and patient population.

04

Workflow integration

Limina One slots into existing DBT programme structures rather than parallel to them. Session outputs are reviewable in clinical handover formats clinicians already use. No additional administrative layer is required to run a session.

Limina One is in active development. Clinical evaluation is planned for 2027 with selected clinical partners.

Evaluation will cover safety, usability, acceptance, acute effects, and implementability. We are looking for three to five clinical partners to shape the evaluation around their programme context.
